I have three questions on the editing capabilities of the upcoming Blades of Avernum. One, can you create custom monsters with different stats, graphics, and sounds? Two, can you create new weapons, artifacts and normal weapons. You can't edit sounds in BoE, and I doubt you will be able to in BoA. Stats and graphics are easy, though, and custom graphics only slightly harder. You can create just about anything on an item you want. The two catches are the custom graphics, as ADoS pointed out, and the fact that items with scripts attached probably won't transfer either. No, there is no guide to using BoA yet. There is no BoA for a guide to be based on. —Alorael, who is sure some helpful person will make one once BoA is available. And if not, you can always ask here. Also, the manuals for Spiderweb games are usually good. BoE's manual does cover most of what you need to know if you take the time to read it. The scripts aren't true programming. You can only have the do in-game tasks, nothing involving the computer. I imagine that would be a pain to set up for both Macs and PC's as well. —Alorael, who doesn't think any good workaround will appear.
