My second Blades of Avernum scenario, called Shipwrecked, is ready for beta. The scenario is set on an unexplored island, and is meant for high level parties. This scenario is longer than Nephilim Mystery(9 outdoor sections and the same number of towns). It is recommended for fairly high level parties. People interested in beta testing it can post a message in this thread or send me a private message asking to test it. The scenario package is about 964KB unstuffed and 116KB stuffed. The beta version of the scenario uses custom graphics, and is only compatible with Blades of Avernum 1.1 or newer on the Mac. (715) Posts: 726 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Willing to test, but I warn that I cannot guarantee timely reports at the moment, and that when you do receive my reports, they will be exhaustive and will not be sugar-coated. And Ash means it. His beta report for ND was so harsh that I kept it unreleased for a loooong time, until he started whining about it :P (No offense, Ash. This was meant to be a joke. But still, his beta reports are very long, detailed, and nitpicky, and I really did keep ND unreleased for a long time because of it. :P ) [ Thursday, September 22, 2005 14:48: Message edited by: BainIhrno ] -------------------- "Let us see what the new day brings." - Temas, Areni. Damn! A new scenario that I can't have anything to do with before it comes out, all because the evil Macintosh brand computer has to be so popular with you guys! I'm better than you. Wait, BoA scenarios are naturally cross-platform, right? EDIT: No offense taken, Bain. You're not the first person to not release a scenario because of a report I gave him. I think that by "only compatible with Blades of Avernum 1.1 or newer on a Mac" he meant "if you have a Mac, you'll need BoA 1.1 or newer". Remember, string manipulation calls didn't exist until Mac 1.1 and Windows 1.0. (Although if he hasn't converted the graphics to Windows format yet, well, that'd be inconvenient, since Windows users can't do it themselves.) Hello, I am quite new here, but I've been playing avernum for a long time (including all boa scenarios at least once) and would be glad to help. I have no experience in scenario designing though. potetox (at) free.fr (I'm using a Mac) Posts: 1 | Registered: Saturday, February 5 2005 08:00 |

I am thus far very impressed. Shipwrecked is an excellent scenario. It is vastly improved from NM. Any way good job Seletine. :) -------------------- The Knight Between Posts. Posts: 2395 | Registered: Friday, November 2 2001 08:00 |

I have become stuck in the forest grove with the forest spirits. I saved my game while in the grove. Now when I open up the save file my group is seemingly invisible but outdoors. I cannot move. Does anybody know how I could fix this without restarting the scenario. Edit: Wait my God party got stuck in the same area. They were entering the southern entrance to the grove multiple times. Then they get stuck under the tree thats very near the grove. Perhaps that has something to do with it. The tree may be obstructing the entrance. This is in the NWestern forest area. I think I'll have to bow out. I don't have time to mess around with getting Stuff It and making my own graphics sheet, and likely wouldn't have time to do a proper job of testing even if someone else took care of that for me. -------------------- SupaNik: Aran, you're not big enough to threaten Ash.
