Why? That's a good reason as one can give.

Some pathetic dude/dudeserina doesn't like you = KARMA GOES DOWN.

Some pathetic dude/dudeserina actually likes you, but as is normal, someone else hates you = KARMA DOWN.

This is unstoppable.

After you tell me what kind of terrain you'd like? I've re-done most of the current tiles (exept for the monsters, player and exit), but do you want more? :)

Erm, what do you mean, terrain? And btw, the exit is meant to be a set of steps.

Let me gently remind you, that you had nothing against Leylines-topics. They could have done that with PMs, ehh?

I can stop posting on this thread if that's wrong to you evil moderators from my basement. :P

YES! The exit is a set of steps to take you UP to the next level, literally.

Member #2286, who keeps changing his/her username, did I not make it clear where to install the level editor?

Apparantly you installed it to "C:\Ohjmatiedostot\Project1".

what the hell is that supposed to mean?????

In future, don't do that.

I might get around to fixing this sometime.

It won't make a difference to YOU, but to me - I had to actually MAKE that folder on my computer to view your levels. If a hundred people sent me levels all installed in different folders, I would have a hundred copies of the same program on my hard disk taking up space. See my point now?

Yes.
Were the levels even beyond average, or just awful?

Why would a level data file care in what folder it's installed?
I mean, a level is just an array of objects, and can easily be
stored in a simple data file using
FILE *file = fopen (filename, "wb");
fwrite (array, xsize, ysize, file);
fclose (file);

or if you're into vbasic more like
open filename$ as 1 len = 1:field#1,1 as q$
for i=1 to xsize: for j=1 to ysize
lset q$=chr$(array(i,j))
put#1
next j,i
close

Radiant nononononono.

My code (it is vb) is NOTHING like that...

The way it works is it takes all the folders in the "./Pieces" folder as categories, and all the image files in the ("./Pieces/" & CategoryName) folder as objects.

This is so that I can send out additional objects simply as zip files of pictures.

When it stores it into the array, it writes the whole of the path to it, including everything from the "c:/" up.

Having said that, I just worked out a way to fix the problem.

However this fix will make it non-compatible with old levels, to fix this load the level file in Notepad and delete the word "Pieces" and everything before it on each line.

Once you've done this it won't be compatible with the old version.

Ok, it has been fixed. Download the new exe-file and put this in place of your old "level editor.exe" file. Then just fix the levels as above, and run it!

Get the new exe-file from http://www.bobxp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/leveleditor.exe
