Good job. I noticed that, after I hit 1000, my post count started going up a lot faster than before. Why? I have no idea. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. quote:Ahem, Scorp. It's not that much. I'm TGM, I lost my posts, remember? I'll reach the being of 2k as I get somewhat 800-900 posts. We can't, without adding everyone's posts together. And then there's the ikonboard (I had 3419 posts there, and TM had 39xx something). -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! For the UBB, at least, it wouldn't be too hard. Get a bunch of volunteers and divide up all the member numbers. There are about 3000 members, and twenty volunteers would only have to add up 22 post counts per day for a week to get the total. On some other types of boards, this would be much easier. —Alorael, who isn't exactly sure why this would be at all helpful. If it were possible to know the daily posting rate for every day from the beginning of the boards to the present, though, maybe there would be a way to see if closing Misc. really did save bandwidth and if Spiderweb bandwidth usage constantly increases... Bueno para tu. Why do post counts seem to have more influence than karma (which can be jacked up by idiots) and what the person actually says? Most people (I hope) don't really care as much as others what the post count/post rank is, and that is a good thing. Geez, Alor-whatever-I-am-not-even-going-to-try, you must have the most posts on the forums. Anyway: quote:*sticks tounge out* Nyah-nyah! :P EDIT: Sorry, forgot the things that make this more than spam. EDIT2: Fixed my Spanish a bit, even though its still bad. Alorael has the most on the UBB, but I have the most if you combine it with the ikonboard. There wasn't anything official, but there was Aceron's BoE board, the Lyceum, and the Arena. Why don't you go to the home page of the boards and add up the numbers in the "Posts" columns? btw, I hate you too, guy whose name I've forgotten but know it began with a 'D' edit: Desert Plah, that's it! On an almost similar note, is there any way to search Misc? -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance.
