Welcome, vlishous. You'll probably find that chatting about the games happens at the specific sections of the forum devoted to them, whereas General is a much less focused place. In any case, enjoy your stay.

That's our traditional greeting, don't ask how it was conceived because I don't know.

This greeting dates from the time before these boards had anything to do with shareware games — back when we were an online arachnaphobia support group. Brother Jeff was kind of our star member; he made so much progress, he eventually bought a tarantula as a pet. He got over his claustrophobia here, too, by actively imagining huge, open underground spaces, instead of stifling little ones. He was trying to develop a therapeutic simulation program about giant caves, but when we constructively commented that claustrophobia therapy didn't really need goblins, he took the point, and the rest is history.

Wow, I thought this site always covered his games. I'm unhinged now.

Um, he's kidding. But he did model an appropriate lack of sanity. Not too much, not too little, just about right.

Yay, I'm finally becoming less gullible. I saw right through that, but I believed an Xian living tool story a couple years ago. Heh heh.

Welcome. Here are some helpful hints so that people won't pick at you like they do me.

1. Please type with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. That makes your posts much easier to read.

2. There is an edit feature that lets you edit your posts.

3. Uh, only 2 things doesn't make sense.

Thank you and have a nice day.

OK

I'm frightened by the fact I fell for Student of the Trinity's statement.

Well, at least it isn't as bad as when I looked up at the ceiling when someone said "gullible is written on the ceiling).

And I fixed my typos. I was really tired at the time.

I have the sudden urge to watch this video again for the five millionth time.

Edit -I wouldn't be surprised if a moderator typed "I have the sudden urge to lock this topic".

You should have waited for someone to say that and then gone, "I KNEW someone would say that!" Oh, wait. The topic would be locked before you could say anything.

And welcome to the boards, vlishous. Have a ball.
