Does anyone else find it somewhat ridiculous that a 12 year old, 8mb game is priced at $25? I understand that it took a lot of time and effort to create, but it goes against all marketing standards for computer games today. Don't get me wrong, I love Spiderweb's games (their demos, anyway), I was just curious about how others feel about their pricing policies. Posts: 2 | Registered: Wednesday, March 21 2007 07:00 |

You can't buy Exile 2 seperate. You get all 3 Exile games. Thus, I assume you mean Avernum 2. And $25 is a good price. And you want this company to survive, don't you? -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. Muffins n' Hell. Note that revisions of the first part is down the list. So it's $25 for all three then? And with the codes or is there a small registration fee on top? -------------------- When you think you can't get any lower in life and hit rock bottom, God hands you a shovel. quote:Yes. Avernum 2 is $25. All 3 Exile games is $25. All 3 Avernum games bought in a bulk is $45. Edit -Yes codes as well! You wouldn't pay for demos that you can get for free to begin with. MM was fishing for responses and he got one! He's been here since day one, and in fact arrived on day one of the Spiderweb Ikonboard that predated this UBB. His account was eaten by a forum bug, but the number was salvaged even though the post count and join date were lost. —Alorael, who really thinks avoiding mentions of spelling or noobness is in the best interests of most newbies and all whose spelling abilities are not beyond reproach. Back to the topic...how does Jeff accept paymentsd apart from credit card? I could send him $25 AU but I think that might be a lil bit useless to him. -------------------- When you think you can't get any lower in life and hit rock bottom, God hands you a shovel. quote:Yes, it will be. For one thing, sending cash through the mail is likely to result in it not being delivered. For another, you need 25 US dollars. Fortunately, there's a solution. Go to your nearest major post office and ask for an international money order made out in US dollars. All you need is cash -- they'll work out the exchange rate for you. There'll be a small fee charged on top of the value of the order, so if you're thinking of registering several games it's better to do them all at once with a single order. With your method of payment now sorted out, you can follow the instructions for ordering by mail here. quote:Don't worry MM Even I recognize you, and Im a noob myself. :) Oh and um I should say that the way I registered the games was by buying a litte Gift Card Credit card at the bank anfd using it for the method of payment, it works quite nicely, and I have used it for online games as well.
