By Sullust: quote:You nearly gave me a heart attack; I thought you were talking about Klein at first. In keeping with the spirit of Canadian content: Canadians killed and injured yesterday by American 'friendly fire'. Again. Youpi. I realize that close air support is vital in Afganistan, but just imagine the backlash if it were the other way around. -------------------- We interrupt this scheduled quote to bring you this rant: DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE REALIZE THE #&%@#@$@% HYPOCRISY OF ADWARE POP-UPS??? My point. He was popular, but how was he controversial - what is more, sufficiently controversial to start an edit war on Wikipedia? :P Edit: quote:There are not many countries that can claim "death by insanely poisonous critter" as a common cause. Thus: I <3 TEH AUSTRALIA! :D [ Tuesday, September 05, 2006 11:26: Message edited by: Drow ] -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. quote:You know, in Missouri, we elected a dead man to the Senate. He'd died in a plane crash too close to the election for his name to be removed from the ballot, and he won in a race that wasn't really close. His wife took the office... Jean Carnahan, if anyone's actually interested. So, with that precedent in mind... Steve Irwin for President! (I don't care which country, just oust somebody!) quote::D -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. And now Peter Brock died too. Not as internationally well-known as Irwin, but he is the greatest motorsport racing Australian ever. Died age 61. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

The body count is rising, folks... all the celebrities with personalities are dying. Anybody else feel like we're losing role models (however flawed they may be) at an unacceptable rate, only to have them replaced by empty, soulless Hollywood types? Imagine fourty years or so down the road, when we'll be saying stuff like "Wow, Paris Hilton finally died." -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead.
