Avernum 4 crash?

After installing Avernum 4 I restarted my pc and was greeted by THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. I then had to wipe my hard drive and use the recovory CD's. :mad: :( Did this happen to anyone else? I've never heard of this happening to anyone else. Hard drives are fickle beasts; the only real way to determine if it was A4 is to try repeating the process. Even if it does happen again, that does not mean it is A4 as the cause, it could be that your hard drive has existing problems and A4 just so happens to cause you to notice them. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! The blue screen of death is related to the Windows OS. If something had actually happened to your HD, your computer would more than likely have not even gotten that far. In all likelihood, there was probably a preexisting problem. I once had similar results (and eventual remedy)after rebooting my machine when it failed to read a certain music CD.
