You should level up until you're powerful enough to take on Duriel. What class are you playing? A few of them have a lot more difficulties with him than others, in my experience. Oh, and one word of advice: USE TOWN PORTAL. The cold is too much of a tactical disadvantage to reasonably overcome, and there is next to no way to defeat Duriel in hand-to-hand combat at the appropriate level without having a few goes at it. And that is far easier if you are not dead in between goes. [ Tuesday, February 21, 2006 20:27: Message edited by: Belisarius ] Posts: 794 | Registered: Tuesday, October 11 2005 07:00 |

arghhhhhhhhh, don't take this the wrong way. I'm not picking on you or anything, but others will and are doing so. To keep this from transpiring, could you please use proper capitalization and punctuation in your posts? This is not like an IM discussion. Also, a period and a double-space is much more aesthetically pleasing to separate sentences than putting each one in a separate line. Again, this is not an IM discussion. If you would do these things, I think you'll find that you'll get a much better reception from this community. Edit: Using the Edit button to avoid double posting is also something that you might want to consider. Also, the reason the editors you've downloaded aren't working for you is probably because they're for Windows. I don't know if one exists for Mac, although it's possible. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

If you waste your skills the computer will own you.So use them wisely and the items you use may be half the problem ,say your using a dagger that does 1-4 you would want to get a sword that did alot more. -------------------- George Bush is a Nazi - Eric Cartmen I'm not as think you stoned I am Visit the RIFQ Forums Posts: 462 | Registered: Tuesday, June 21 2005 07:00 |

Don't use editors. That said, there are a few that don't screw up your computer, the one I used was for windows, I don't know if it works for mac. I think the name was Spike, if you want to go for it google it. Playing as a barbarian, the only way to beat him is to go toe-to-toe, if you stun him things go easier. Also it's not cold, thawing potions don't do anything, cold resistance doesn't do anything. -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? Posts: 883 | Registered: Wednesday, October 19 2005 07:00 |
