OK, I give up...what's the connection with Drakefyre, custom titles, and Alice in Wonderland?

...curiouser and curiouser...

Drakey's will is ineffable.

Well, I learned a new word today (my dictionary was grateful for the attention), but it appears I am not any closer to the answer to this riddle yet.

It is not meant to be effed. Ours is merely to look on in wonder, awe, and bafflement.

—Alorael, who recommends Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett for fascinating discourses on ineffability. Among other things.

I'm supposing you like your new custom title better than your last one, Kel.

I will go out on a limb and recommend American Gods for similar reasons.

Amen to that.

Of course, the heaviness of American Gods gets oppressive every now and then, whereas Good Omens does no such thing.

Topically neither would make good custom forum member titles.

*this message had remarkably little to add despite staying on topic*

If you go by the titles, Marathon 2 trumps everything else.

American Gods doesn't delve into effability and lack thereof as explicitly as Good Omens. It's also oddly lacking in Christ and Antichrist.

—Alorael, who considers Good Omens to be required reading after Paradise Lost, which is required reading as the Book of Milton in the Bible.

Thus ends this installment of Six Degrees of Separation: From Alice to Antichrist.

Marathon 2, huh. I was going to say, "They're everywhere!", but uh, they're really not. Who is an active member who has an M2-inspired custom title?

Join us next week when we make the trip from Antichrist to Amelioration. Then, this fall, we'll go from Babel to Baby Back Ribs in a mere five steps!

The boards,

to which you have personally contributed some 6223 posts,

suck.

Interesting observation.

Meow.

Although, I dunno, I kinda wanted to laugh at this. Heck, I DID laugh. I just didn't want to poke my laughter into range of TM's tentacles.

No sponsors?

Wow, I am slow. They've been gone for two days now. Must be another recession coming up.

Huh? Was that pointed at me?

Edit: And more importantly, is it loaded?

The boards to which TM has contributed 6226 posts?

—Alorael, who is unamazed, unsurprised, and, after four years, sadly unapalled.

All double meanings were intentional. As was any innuendo. Although I didn't expect it was you that'd pick up on it.
