Exactly 36 if my posting rate doesn't change. I think my current daily average is approximately the same as my overall average, so who knows? —Alorael, who thinks he bloody well deserves a :nanaparty: and who bloody well feels entitled to use bloody despite being an American with only the faintest traces of Anglo-Saxon blood in him. I've only been posting on here for a week or so, but from reading through old posts, I can really see how much Alorael has given to this community. Wikipedia has a fascinating article on the etymology of "bloody" right here. —Alorael, whose family comes predominantly from, in proportional order, Russia (or Belarus, but it was Russia when they emigrated), Austria, Ireland, Italy, and some other places that he'd have to scour his family tree to locate. There are many things I am tempted to say here, but I'll restrain myself. Instead, I shall congratulate Alorael for his, er, accomplishment. As I'm fond of saying, Alorael shows us that some people get Canned for spamming, and some people get modded for it. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Don't be silly. I was modded for electorial hijinks and corrupted, a time-honored way of wresting power from those who deserve it. The spamming is entirely unrelated. —Alorael, who would like to remind you that voting for anyone who isn't Alorael is un-American, un-British, un-Australian, un-German, un-Canadian, un-Swedish, un-French, un-Japanese, un-Dominican, un-Emirati, and undead. In a delicious twist of irony, that picture applies to the quoted post as much as it does to the post directly above it. :) -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. No, I have not spammed. I have double posted a few times. Two were after 9900 posts, so they got more attention. My double post rate is no higher than most over four years. The race to 1000 involved no especially large amounts of spam. The effort to get Morgan to 1000 posts did pretty much consist of posts that could only very loosely be described as anything but spam, but they were for a good cause. —Alorael, who can't believe this is still being discussed. Come on! Half a month and a hundred some posts later is not the time to make accusations of spam! This post is fully justified. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
