You, sadly, are not.

This person claims to be Jeff Vogel.

And it is true that you are just asking for more one-star votes. *Fires one-star bazooka*

Would someone mind telling me who ELO is?

Someone has maintained too firm of a grip on their sanity.

Edit - while pointing out the availability of urbandictionary.com is helpful, it may be even more helpful to explain that Electric Light Orchestra was a musical group from the 70's and early 80's.

Pardon my rudeness, but some of that is furthur proof of your suckiness/noodhood.

And it is possible to be correct. You're just saying that to defend yourself.

Okay, well, he's sort of a newbie, so let's at least try to explain.

Woodstock, people around here appreciate proper spelling, capitalization, and grammar, because these things make your posts easier to read. Making a few mistakes here or there is okay, but at least try.

And just in case no one has said it yet: welcome to the forums. Leave your sanity at the door — although in your case you may want to sample some of the sanities that have been left there and take a little bit in with you.

In any case, I've only heard a song or two by ELO. They're not bad, but they're not something I'd wanted to hear regularly.

Eh, be nice people. How was he to know that complaining about 1-star votes gets you a bunch more? Not that you should refrain from rating him 1 star, I might add, but be nice to him.

Hi, I'm ben, and I've never heard of ELO. Sorry.

Well that's what karma is, everyone's opinion. (Or at least that's what it's supposed to be; most users don't vote at all, or vote one star for everyone.) If it really bothers you, go to your profile and turn it off.

To be even more specific about ELO, they are a British disco/rock band with a bit of classical mixed in (they did a disco version of the first movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony, and a somewhat heavy cover of Grieg's In The Hall Of The Mountain King, and some of their other songs have traces of classical in there as well). The lead singer was Bev Bevan, and the lead guitarist was Jeff Lynne, a good friend of George Harrison of The Beatles. Now I'll recommend some of their good songs:

All Over The World (from the horrible flop of a musical called Xanadu)
Evil Woman
In The Hall Of The Mountain King (I like listening to this when trekking through the Alien Beast cavern in VoDT)
Last Train To London
Livin' Thing
Mr. Blue Sky
Rockaria
Strange Magic
Telephone Line
The Diary Of Horace Wimp

There are many other good ones, but those are my favorites.

Other good disco bands are The Tavares, Heatwave, and The BeeGees.
