That happens. When I transfered schools my old friends from my old school that live in my neighboorhood started to treat me like crap.

People whom I'd probably trust would be my family and closest friends. As for strangers, I only tust them if I'm put in "forced to" situation. My co-workers are mere strangers to me as I just do the work and not talk to them, but I would trust them nonetheless to get a small task or group project done when my boss requests me to. They do their part and I do my part, end of story.
