An update:

I have received all of Thuryl's files and am currently downloading Stughalf's. Here are the page numbers I have:

1 (Bumped Topics)
6-11
14
18-19
21-30
34-37

I do have 30-33 in a .sit format but my mac emulator will not let me unstuff it, for some odd reason. Kel, if you can, resend 30-33 without compressing it first.

So I still need 12-13, 15-17, 20, 31-33 and possibly a last part of 30.

And I am still working on the archive site.

Thanks,
-RC

Oh, and STD, if you still need a way to transfer your files if email won't work, contact me via PM or email and I can set up an FTP account for you.

I saved some of the RPs for the simple reason of studying my previous writings so I can improve in the future. However, I am missing the Deludere RP. Does anyone have a copy?

I also need the second page of my Reoccuring Dreams topic.

I'm not sure of what else I was in.

Thanks ahead of time for any help. IMAGE(cool0000.gif)

I have started to send them uncompressed, RC, but they are huge. I think maybe I should just send a different compressed file. Is there another compression format that Mac can do? Or possibly I can just compress it in smaller chunks or something. Otherwise this may take a LOOOONG time.

BTW, the folder "26 (hole)" is meant to cover the hole between you and Alec, so it should be most of page 26.

EDIT: Deludere was page 12, my territory. I have sent it to the e-mail address in your profile, MSW.

300MB all in all?

I checked. The .rar-archives of my two pages sum up to 1,62MB. Even if we had to have two different versions for Mac and PC, compression should reduce the overall size quite a bit.

Yes, but some are actually around 1-2megs, per page. I then later want to extract all of them individually on my webhost and that should take around 300 to possibly 400mb of space. For now, I'm just working on getting the downloads page working...

Ummm?since this was jokingly mentioned in this topic, and it's not a big enough deal to have it's own topic (well perhaps) I just bumped this one.

I want my Desert Plah back, Drakey. Check your PM's. The system says that the name is already taken, which is against the CoC.

Okay peeps I'm back.

I've got page 20 saved in my mailbox so if it's okay with you RC I'll forward them when you give the word. There's about 35-36 of them, I'll see if I can bundle them up as attachments, but because my IE is fragged (and I STILL haven't gotten around to re-installing it) I can't put it on my HDD to compress it.

Can I possibly get a copy of all the RPs I was in starting with Zombie Attack and Around the Universe In However Long It Takes? I have them, but since I had no idea how to save in HTML, mine are all in text.

The RPs should be the two mentioned above, Fall of the Star Clan, The Greywraith Clan, Tumbleweed RP, Around the Universe and Back In Time For Tea, Defending the Tavern Front, Zombie Attack 2, and Serendipity RP.

Thanks.

So what you're saying is, I'm doomed to roam the boards no longer as Desert Plah?

*sigh* Okay.

Plah - After you switch off of a name, it can't be used for a week or so. This is probably to prevent devilry.

So all anyone has to do to keep some poor soul from regaining a previous moniker is to switch to that moniker and off again once a week...

Hmm... *maniacal laughter*!!!

EDIT: Ah well this was all quite fun! I am currently in the process of sending on mine to RC (any problems with them, give me a shout). Now lets all pat each other on the back and give good karma ratings...

No hinting that I dislike being .1 off karma of 3! Honest! IMAGE(biggrin3.gif)

MSW, I just noticed I had the second page of your "Reoccurring Dreams" topic, too, and sent it.

EDIT: I had most of the rest of those RPs, too, but they should be available at The General Archive as announced in RC's post elsewhere. (That's the link you're looking for, spy.there.)

Thank you Kel. But I cannot read the site. Probably because I'm on a Mac.

Yeah, but I haven't been Desert Plah for like a month, at least.

But that's okay, I've resigned myself to being Desert Ploo, and I won't make any more stink about it.
