I'm not really sure where to put this, but this is just to inform you all that my website, Drakefyre's Demesne, has been overhauled and revamped to include Blades of Exile and Blades of Avernum sections, as well as a re-organized miscellaneous page. Also, I should be updating more regularly now. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! I've heard this "frequent updating" story before. I'll believe it when I have RiB up and running before my own eyes. Until then, no matter how many times you update, I refuse to believe that it is truly updating. ?Alorael, who has a one track mind when it comes to abusing Drakefyre. It appears you have yet to add my English to Novah trranslation list. You should really add at least a link to it. I think it will increase the use of Novah. -------------------- Need a pet? Not by much if you take into account that my Novah-English/English-Novah Translator allows to search in both directions without having to scroll... (though spelling flexibility is nonexistant, which should not matter much when searching for a Novah translation of an English word however) But anyway, I think I'll go and do a little GIFTS jig now after seeing that Drakey links to me not once, but twice, and on his front page no less! GAH! Drakey, your source is still a mess. Oh well, it works. Oh, by the way, my site was also updated recently, and it looks nicer . Yes, the graphics archive is still a mess, and I do Shyguy a great injustice by leaving it alive. I'm thinking I might just scrap it. -------------------- "Oh, North Wind, why frighten others? He's making a joke that your site gave him a seizure. Regardless, I'm sensitive to that sort of thing. It's really irresponsible to say "I won't change it until I've endangered at least one person's life," you know. -------------------- Beatoff Valley: A story told out of order. Alec: The translator contains, as of now, only single words. You can look up 'vah' (people), 'na' (living), and 'tai' (crystal). I expect to add compound words at some point, but can't now for lack of free time. -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. Or the Encyclopaedia Ermariana! Got a brain? Fair 'nuff. Will it translate strings of words (e.g. 'vah na tai' or 'He is an arc'?) -------------------- AnamaFreak (3:59:56 AM): Shounen-ai to the MAX Misogynism is the wave of the future, but it sure pisses the womenfolk off. If you've opened the source of the translator (and the .js files it uses) you'll see it's a rather primitive approach that can only search for one string in the database at the time, and needs to match that string with the entered one perfectly. I don't know enough javascript yet to know how to do it better, and I haven't found any translator sites that did so and were yet simple enough for me to understand and adapt... -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. I don't think I should have to ruin the rest of my browsing experience to account for inconsiderate idiots. Why don't you just change your site to flash random colors at 60 FPS and maybe put in an ActiveX control that executes FORMAT C: and sends emails to the President threatening his life? It would be SO EASY for you to just change the colors so they were different or less contrasting. But you won't. That's a great idea, until you nearly kill someone and they sue the shirt off your back. -------------------- Beatoff Valley: A story told out of order. I have occasional headaches, DP, and opened your page when the pain was worst, because I wanted to see what happened. The colours seemed to flicker and caused more pain and nausea. What heightens actual discomfort when nerves are oversensitive cannot convey the kind of positive visual message you probably want your site to have. Djur is doing you a favour with his warning. The slight disorientation I felt is probably nothing compared to the effect it would have on an epileptic person. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1828 | Registered: Saturday, January 11 2003 08:00 |

DP, I don't see what's wrong with my source. The indents don't seem to convert when sitemouse uploads my files. Indents? ? Oh, just the "completeness" of it. I'm a spiffy when it comes to completeness. Not that it matters, really. Just the lack of HTML tags at beginning and end and stuff. And the lack of quotes, even though it still works without. -------------------- "Oh, North Wind, why frighten others? In Nature's family all are brothers.
