What the heck do you people do to your XPs? My XP hasn't crashed at all yet. Sometimes it pauses for abnormally long periods of time, but it always start working again in a minute or two. But I also think that all the utilities in XP should be easily accessbile in one simple folder or program. The control panel just doesn't cut it when you need to do more advanced things, and then the programs or files you need to find are hidden in the jumble of poorly categorized files in the Windows folder. -------------------- How do signature's work? -Keep Posts: 1415 | Registered: Thursday, March 27 2003 08:00 |

Here are some reasons: 1) They would get their butt's sued off by millions of people 2) Some people do not use the internet. 3) Because I said so. Shall I continue? Same here, Syntyrael, and I agree. However, as X is supposed to be even more stable than 9, I plan to (at least eventually) upgrade. True. I have an old iMac as well, a first generation one, with the G3 processor and a paltry 265 mHz, or something around those lines. I don't plan to install X on my iMac either; I figure I'll be getting a new computer in the next two years or so, and when I do it'll be a new Mac with X. -------------------- "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain- at least in a poor country like Russia- and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. quote:Believe it or not, Win XP has more security holes in it than Win98, most of it having to do with remote connection feature. And that was the case with the Blaster Worm. But WinXP is more advanced than any Mac , and that's why I'm using it right now. -------------------- 73|-| 1|\|\/1|\|<1|3|_3 |30063y|\/|4|\| AHEM: Chance Forums! -Reality Corp.
