Closing the topic doesn't make my arguement invalid. The boards have become a meaningless, pathetic, worthless, shadow of their old self. It's a pity too few of you people see. -------------------- I pledge a grievance to the flag of the plighted stakes of America, and to the republics upon which it stands, one nation, playing God, blind and visible, with the illusion of liberty and justice for all Posts: 35 | Registered: Monday, November 3 2003 08:00 |

And I'm sure you have some excellent suggestions regarding how this forum could be improved. Complaining for the sake of complaining is entirely worthless. If you do indeed have useful ideas about how the forum could be improved, I'm sure that everyone would love to hear about them. But if your only motive in posting is to put the forum down, you have absolutely no business posting. -------------------- "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain- at least in a poor country like Russia- and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. That's a load of crap. They won't listen to me. You are an incorrigible rantallion. Anyone with eyes or a good screen-reader can tell that Spiderweb sucks, but you're sadly mistaken if you think it's ever been any better. FIDDLE FIDDLE FIDDLE Posts: 999 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

You're mistaken. There used to be good stuff here, but you probably won't remember any of it since it happened before you jioned up. -------------------- I pledge a grievance to the flag of the plighted stakes of America, and to the republics upon which it stands, one nation, playing God, blind and visible, with the illusion of liberty and justice for all Posts: 35 | Registered: Monday, November 3 2003 08:00 |

All right, even if the boards *are* full of meaningless spam (mostly due to you at the moment), then what's the point in telling us? It's not like we didn't already know, you see... If you don't like it, leave. It's what I'd do anyway. But then maybe I'm a 'pathetic weakling'? -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. T. You know what? This interests me a bit. Stop whining and make a decent RP, then. Christ, you're starting to piss me off. -------------------- We're all amazed but not amused By all the things that you said you'd do. Talk to the administrators not to us. Not like they would care what you had to say versus the opinion of the entire Spiderweb community. You must not remember one of the first RPs the spiderweb community ever had in Misc. where everyone participated. It was a complete disaster. I would say they have improved quite a bit. -------------------- I be rockin' da paradise baby. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Oh, well. I am sorry, but I never like RPs. Never been in one, if I remember correctly. I agree with Infuriated Slith here: I've seen the Misc boards, and no matter how much more fun they were than they look like dead, or what your tastes: No one who's seen them and seen the current situation can say that the situation — not least for RPs, but also in other respects — has not immensely improved since then. And RPs lately have been uncomparable to what we had here as recent as half a year ago. I mean, I remember the Sands of Time topic eventually got bogged down by giant rubbery, immortal creatures by Zephyr, and there were character killings and screaming, and flaming and all kinds of stuff. See the newest RPs, and look for that kind of thing in there. I'm not saying they're perfect, but they're definitely better than then. Btw, I can't stand those people who keep saying "AAh, in the Good Old Times everything was sooooo much better, we had better RPs, better members, better flamewards, better spam..." I said I'd *seen* the boards, and mentioned that they might have looked better *before they were dead*. That should have indicated I came here after it was closed, and got to it via a link from someone. There was some fun stuff in there, but most of it was horrendous spam, sorry to say it. -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. T. That's because Misc was pruned before it was closed. It really sucked much worse. Posts: 999 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |
