Now my charms are all o'erthrown, And what strength I have's mine own, [...] Gentle breath of yours my sails Must fill, or else my project fails, Which was to please. Now I want Spirits to enforce, art to enchant, And my ending is despair, Unless I be relieved by prayer, Which pierces so that it assaults Mercy itself and frees all faults. As you from crimes would pardon'd be, Let your indulgence set me free. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

Forgive me for being dense, but what exactly is the message here? Are you announcing your departure from the boards, or simply waxing poetic? -------------------- Stughalf "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain - at least in a poor country like Russia - and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. In America it takes an automobile to produce this effect." - Leon Trotsky Posts: 1798 | Registered: Sunday, October 5 2003 07:00 |

Shakespeare's The Tempest, epilogue spoken by Prospero. The way it is cut make think of Loreena McKennit's Prospero's Speech. It is often said that it means that Prospero has finished his earthly duty and wait death, the word "adieu" means we will not see him anymore but in heavens. SMoE should have made a personnal haiku. -------------------- /Seawinds are calling Posts: 187 | Registered: Thursday, August 14 2003 07:00 |

Sir Motrax just popped off. Some will say that's quite a shame. Others, though, may not. I'm sorry. The haakai made me do it. Posts: 236 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

No, no. It's just his pretentious way of saying that we bore him and he's not going to have anything more to do with us. *sigh* Young neocons are all the same. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |
