I find TGCs annoying and pointless, especially Pokemon which is why I voted for it. I like TGFs (or whatever you call them) where instead of cards there are figures. I love to play Mageknight and Mechwarrior and if it wasn't for my bad luck, I would still be collecting them. -------------------- "Wow, fish." Hahahaha, I crack myself up. I've never actually heard of Raw Deal. Anyway you've left out several of the best CCGs, including Jyhad (aka V:tES); NetRunner; Middle Earth the Wizards (no, not the more recent LotR ccg) and INWO. In terms of gameplay and depth of strategy, it's not very surprising that Magic beats the <censored> out of anything that's just based on a movie or tv show. -------------------- Freude, schöner Götterfunken, Tochter aus Elysium, Wir betreten feuertrunken, Himmlische, dein Heilighthum! Raw Deal is the "WWF/WWE" card game. Yeah I did forget a bunch of cardgames. A while later I'll make an updated poll in the future. I trade decks of cards in my quest to have the largest collection of aces of spades in the world. Does that count as a trading card game? —Alorael, who does not actually do this. Although now that he thinks about it it would be a fun thing to collect. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

quote:*concurs* A deck with 30-odd counterspells, 30-odd forbids, and two or three really weak creatures is just plain funny. Unless it has no mana. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

Once you have Worship on the table, what's the point of the ivory mask? Is it just in case of things that reduce life without doing damage, or things that deck you? Anyway, I'd rather face a Worship than a Mother of Runes. A friend has a disgusting deck that can get a 6/6 trampler out on the second turn reasonably often. (Elves, Sol Rings (yes, plural), Argothian Wurm) Someday I'll make a deck with my nice shiny Leveler in it, and open myself to early-game decking. Opalescence + Opalescence + Humility = Infinite loop = Draw —Alorael, who still occasionally toys with the idea of making a deck that wins by being able to force an immediate infinite loop draw if anything goes wrong. Just wear protective clothing before playing excitable opponents. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
