Wh... wh... What could you POSSIBLY be writing a report on Spidey for? -____________________________________- -------------------- We're all amazed but not amused By all the things that you said you'd do. You're much concerned but not involved by Decisions that are made by you But we are sick and tired of hearing your song, Telling us how you are going to change right from wrong, 'Cause if you really want to hear our views, You haven't done nothin'. I don't think it's that bad an idea, though I can't possibly imagine what one could write about. Isn't there any information of SW:s history hidden in some distant nook somewhere on this site? Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

I still think that online forums are a fascinating subject for studying psychology and sociology. If you're not writing on that, Spiderweb Software itself is an interesting company that fills a very small market niche. And ask Jeff about parenting and you'll get quite a response. —Alorael, who doesn't think a general paper about everything Spiderweb could work well. Spiderweb is too varied. Pick one aspect and write about it. The games work, although you might come across as an overenthusiastic reviewer. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

If you read a book, how would you report on it at school? What was in it, a summary of issues raised. What it taught you, in other words discussion. Maybe even how it made you feel. Context would help for those that don't know about the book - what's generally known about it. Now do the same for Spiderweb games. Simple, eh? A high-prestige career as reviewer awaits... Why not explain the shareware concept in your report? There's plenty to talk about there. -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

"Does any one know any history about SWS? Now that would be useful," LordLoony says sarcastically, as he heartlessly murders the bug on the monitor, "Damn", he swore as he started to wipe the remains of the bug away, "now I've got to clean it up," then he killed another bug even though it makes a mess on his monitor. Please, don't post in RP style when not RPing. —Alorael, who doesn't think the history of the company is so interesting. Jeff incorporated, made games, sold games. The boards have a more complicated history that can be posted and argued about on demand. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

"I fail to see anything wrong with posting in RP style, asuming it's done right," stated Slain as dog-like humanoids stabbed him with rusty plastic spoons. Posts: 1918 | Registered: Sunday, October 13 2002 07:00 |

There's a history of spidweb somewhere on their site. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse!
