I'm trying to figure out how to cure Patrick's wife, and I'm not sure what I'm missing--I have the recipe and the graymold, but I have no idea what skill level my alchemist needs to be at to make the stuff. How do I go about making the actual salve to give to Patrick? Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |

Ah, and it refreshes the job boards, too. Excellent. Yeah, the junk shops are one of my favorite parts of the Exile games. Thanks, Alorael! Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |

I remember there being some kind of code to reset items in junk shops in Exile III, but I can't remember what it is. Does anyone know? Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |

I like to come up with personalities for my Shapers. I've currently got two GF3 games going at once, one pro-rebel and the other pro-Shaper. My pro-rebel Shaper is named Forqueray, after an alien in an Alastair Reynolds novella, and my anti-rebel Shaper is named Dariusz, for no reason in particular. Forqueray is swishy and gay and looks like Austin Scarlett. Dariusz is a humorless sociopath with an eyepatch. When I'm playing him, I usually go out of my way to kill everything possible and kick puppies and stuff. And whenever I'm playing an Agent, I call him Jack Bauer. Because when you wake up in the morning, it's because Jack Bauer let you wake up. Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |

I went by Rider of Rohan. I was 14, so I was pretty obnoxious. :) Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |

It's working now--thanks! And thanks for the welcome...I was actually pretty active on the boards a couple of years ago, took a break, and now I'm back. :) Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |

I recently registered BoA, and downloaded a few scenarios (Bahssikava, Babysitting and Lord Putidus) to try out. It was my first time downloading scenarios, so I expected a problem or two, but the instructions were straightforward enough and I did what they said. However, when I dragged the folders into the BoA Scenarios folder, they wouldn't show up as options when I tried to load my party into a scenario. There weren't any toggle arrows in the scenario options, just the four scenarios that came with the game. I'm positive that I didn't download Exile scenarios by mistake, and nothing else seemed to have gone wrong--the folders looked like folders with a zipper on them, which seemed to be what they were supposed to look like--so I can't figure out what's wrong. Can someone help me? Posts: 8 | Registered: Friday, August 11 2006 07:00 |
