I know that there is a hints walkthrough. But it reads that you receive the first triangle after the machinary labrinth and only describes where you find 2 others after the catacombs. I've cleared the catacombs and I only have 3 triangles. where do I find the rest? Also - I donlt understand why on many of the posts there are quotes. Where are they from? And why? I solved it - and restarted. I won - boy that was anticlimatic!!! I'm playing Avernum 3. I thought that I was finished the game, and I was transported 5 times until I could press the buttons. Nothing happened. Apparently I had missed something. So, I went back to an earlier saved game, and pressed all the contol panels once. I must have pressed 10 or 11 panels. The panel near the lava still doesn't work. How do I know it is time to finish the game? I'm playing Avernum 3, and am a the very end battling Rentar-Ihrno and her minions. She has transported me away at least 4 times, and I'm running out of energy elixars. When will this end? I've consulted the walkthrough as much as I can - but . . . I have the stone, the instructions, and the crystal - but when I fought my way all they way to the control tower nothing happened. This walkthrough -I found it. The mage is in the valley, with the secret enterance behind a bush - with all the annoying archers. I did miss a hallway! I have to find the spider - can you turn off the lazer in the room with the lever? I'm trying to destroy the mad mage outside Fell - something, but he keeps on driving my group away with the orange fear spell. How do I counter it? Shields don't work, neither does cure. He often drives my whole party insane. Also, before the end of the demo - is it best to destroy all the crystals before the mage Also, why does cure not always work?
