I usually use a combination of character traits to mostly even out the leveling. I admit that it usually means all my characters have a 25% to 35% xp penalty, but as has been said before, reaching max level and gaining xp isn't really a problem in the Avernum games. What gender is Sulfras? in The Avernum Trilogy

I'm not sure about the sequels, but in the first Avernum game there seems to be some doubt as to whether Sulfras is male or female. I haven't found all the references, but two I have in my journal are from Khoth and the Slith Merchant: Khoth: quote: Sulfras is good for contemplating his own might, and little more. I know what the descriptions say, but I'm curious if someone knows more about how they work. For instance, what percent of the value does each point of barter provide, if it works on such a scale? I know I can use the character editor to some degree to figure these out, I'm just curious if someone else already has, and is willing to share. I'm currently playing Avernum.
