I am actually closer to Casino... Not that I enjoy admitting that, but we do get some Grafton stations - just depends on the weather... Ohhh... & I only made the "gerbal" comment to see if they were serious or not. Hope I didnt offend... :o + I do enjoy the Vhanatai story lines, I might take a sticky -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |

Of course... I mean, I am not a complete ass... Just putting my 2 cents in - in a purely, un-adulterated, semi-cynical way... Now isnt that, a contradiction of fact ! lol :) Hey Aurora, thanks for the vote of confidence... -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |

Hmmm... Well there is a couple of responses here I just MUST Make. Please excuse length of post/ Re: "Newbie comment... " I shall explain why I even mentioned it, I have been looking for certain software/info "I am a researcher in my spare time" in the states & online medical journals etc... & they didnt really like to respond ESP. if you have only been a menber for less than 24 hrs... An assumption I made would be the same here, but was proved wrong - which I must say is a pleasent suprise :) Adding to this - quoting a post I read "Hi, I'm new" posts tend to get annoying. Starting with something relevant or by asking a good question is usually preferred." I thought that was what I did??? after all isnt this a site where you find out information & discuss topics game related or not ??? Or is that person someone that has a "gerbal" permanently stuffed up there rear ??? please explain...? Re: "Interface...." I 'spose that I just prefer games/software where mouse clicks/time management are the central - work habits die hard, lol. But like I said, in regards to BOE maybe its worth the extra look... Ohh & BTW I am on the North Coast NSW - North of Grafton. Also, could the post ""Kel needs to understand the definition of context before accepting complements"" isnt that up the the viewer/player? Generally, & I mean generally - with these types of games... You have choice, its the players way of determining its integral interpretation of it; whether the designer ment it that way or not. Just a last quick comment... You are only as old as you feel... :D for all you oldies out there! There seems to be mixed responses on here though ... ? -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |

OKay, I just saw this post - Just gotta say something... Isnt THAT the point...? To collect stuff? Otherwise - you would be breezing thru the game clocking up cash, it would be to easy! Just a newbies thought... -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |

Well, I decided to download Exile & Nethergate.... Before I checked the responses on here - der - You were right about the different interface/engine - I dont really like it, I do think BOA is much easier to use, that maybe also because I am a newbie too. However, there is a wider variety of scenarios... So maybe I will have another try, maybe. Also in regards to the scenarios themselves - Bahssikava - Is my fav. story line great, PLUS it made you think! But I am currently replaying The Za-Khazi Run again, & I enjoy the "feel" of that. Thanks for the """positive""" responses... -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |

Heya all, I started playing BOA & have been thru all of the scenarios I can find - Loved them - some more than others; some moreso than others I must admit, But it was the diversity that thrilled me. I want to look at playing the other Spiderweb games (whilst building my own scenario) & I am wondering if there is a ""GURU"" that could point me in the right direction...??? Any help much appreciated. K -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |

Use the walkthrough in the BoA manual.pdf, as spy.there advised & those happy spiders; well they will make sense later on, they are integral to the story line - just don't kill them... -------------------- --..--The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth--..-- Posts: 12 | Registered: Wednesday, May 11 2005 07:00 |
