Finally! I beat AC3! in Blades of Exile

First of all shyguy. CONGRATULATIONS ON A ******* BRILLIANT SCENERIO! I loved every single minute of it!
I have a few questions that tickled the back of my brain though
1. What difference does it make if you tell vargas at the beginning instead of Montague? I would think this especially makes a difference in what happens in the mysterius cottage.
2. How do you increase your faith in odashai
3. What does praying at those altars do?
4. What excactly does that acid protection shield do?
Lastly I only seemed to win with a bug in the game.

After Kunnislutz, I try to take out Lucivius. I am stopped by his irritating barriers. I try to pick up Tiberius and he says he is too tired. I try looking back into the Lucivius's castle, and the game seems to think that I have Grimly along?
What am I supposed to do to pick him back up?

Nice game although I noticed a minor bug.
When you are at the checkpoint you will get a message at some point in the fight that there is an explosion and you are knocked out. Well it turns out that the fort will stand until you end combat, thus enabling you to do some constructive looting. (I got a mithral chainmail off a khazi this way :) )

sorry for the double post but I got stuck again.(and on the same annoying sidequest too)
forget this part I figured it out arghhh now I have a post apologizing for my double post!

1. Does anyone know where to even start looking for Vigara?
2. The hint for the 5th note in the scavenger hunt. A place of learning with no books or teachers IT moves and you don't. Look on the top of the pole for your answer.(something like that) It seems to imply a conveyor belt, and maybe a flag on a pole, but I don't really know where to look.
