It depends on my mood - Cannonball Adderley, Pete Seeger (with or without The Weavers), Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Josh Redman, Keiko Matsui, King Oliver, Cyrus Chestnut, Mose Allison, Mark Knopfler, Bonnie Raitt, James Ingram, Dave Brubeck...mostly jazz and folk, some classic rock, a couple other genres... I just got a CD of Jewish music from Moment Magazine. Some of the performers (Peri Smilow, Gershon Veroba, Lenny Solomon) were good - I have to try out more of their work. -------------------- Life may be unfair, but that is no justification for anyone to make life more unfair than it normally is. - Edward Flattau Posts: 4 | Registered: Sunday, March 27 2005 08:00 |

quote:There were lots in the 1980s that I can think of - Adventure Construction Set certainly fits the RPG category and was copyrighted in 1984. As the question merely refers to "earlier games" though, you can make a case for Lode Runner or Ultimate Wizard, both of which may be older. I'm sure that there could well be earlier games that I'm unaware of. So I guess if we're going strictly by RPGs, we should look for ones earlier than '84. -------------------- Life may be unfair, but that is no justification for anyone to make life more unfair than it normally is. - Edward Flattau Posts: 4 | Registered: Sunday, March 27 2005 08:00 |

I've won as a solo Roman and after the first dungeon or two, it got easier than a group adventure. I'm now starting as a solo Celt and have finished the Pits. We'll see how it goes later on with the armor limitation - with a solo Roman you didn't have to worry much about damage. -------------------- Life may be unfair, but that is no justification for anyone to make life more unfair than it normally is. - Edward Flattau Posts: 4 | Registered: Sunday, March 27 2005 08:00 |

"Also, how do I get into that secret area in the Commander's quarters? (behind the dining room)" As a reward for the Eye of Cathrac mission (IIRC - one of the missions he assigns you) you get to have access to that equipment. I don't think you can reach the area until that point. I can't recall exactly where the third key is located. -------------------- Life may be unfair, but that is no justification for anyone to make life more unfair than it normally is. - Edward Flattau Posts: 4 | Registered: Sunday, March 27 2005 08:00 |
