Apologies, I did not mean to stir anything up. No one's a vigilante, and I will run a search of existing topics before starting a new thread next time, which is something I admittedly didn't do this time. As was pointed out, I'm not really a forum regular, but just tend to kind of drift in for a while after every new Spiderweb release. Hopefully this thread shall remain useful and people will share other interesting references that they spot in A4. I know I'd like to read them! The wild animal breeder east of Fort Duvno is named Torvald, and his untalkative wife's name is Nora. Clearly, Jeff was thinking of Henrik Ibsen's Doll House, and it made me kind of happy to catch on to it. It's little things like this that make me love the series even more. Did anyone else catch this, or find any other literary allusions at any point? Posts: 4 | Registered: Saturday, August 14 2004 07:00 |

You're all going to laugh at me, but how do I get into the school? I got Malone's letter, talked to him and everybody else, and I feel really quite stupid because I still don't know what I'm supposed to do, since I don't discover anything new at the gatehouse :/ Posts: 4 | Registered: Saturday, August 14 2004 07:00 |

This was really the best out of the user-made scenarios so far in that the story was engaging, albeit short, and things pretty much fell into place well. A few moments were challenging even though my party is in their 30s level-wise. I'm not sure if this is a bug or just something I did wrong, but when my party woke up at night and obtained permission to consult Barbarus, the guard let them in but Barbarus himself was not in the room--so I couldn't get the other ending and had to go back to bed. Thoughts? Posts: 4 | Registered: Saturday, August 14 2004 07:00 |
