I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but if you push F1 twice in BoA(like I accidentally did) you can't return from help to the game, and I had no option but to shut down the programme with task manager. The 'done' button done nothing.

I have the PC version

I am on a PC I don't know what version of BoA

I didn't at any time enter the stone circle, the dialog box is generated, from adjacent the rear of the stone circle.

I don't know anything about scripts I just created a character and did it both ways, after I killed the spirit my character moved around to the back of the circle and triggered the dialog box.

not worth the invincibility potion

EDIT: I did it again and the dialog box was triggered from south of the stone circle after defeating the ghost whether you walk clockwise of anticlockwise.

"There is something shiny in the grass in the circle. You investigate and find a thin, gold bracelet. It may be your imagination, but you think that, if you concentrate, you can see through the metal."

to take the ghostly bracelet ...
move around towards the back of the stone circle, this will trigger the dialog box

EDIT: I've tried this again and after you solve the valleys poisons you can still get the bracelet without fighting the shade (plus 100 xp)> IMO this is a far better option as if you fight it you will probably lose about 100 xp because the spirit drains you every time it hits

The only time I find there is any true benefit for being Nephilim or Slithzerikai is in the beginning, which is by far the easiest part of the game (ie unnecessary benefit).

I'd prefer to level up characters faster to specialise them with skillpoints, than have good bonuses at the start which are later overriden by a human characters faster levelling.

In the end: Human +positive traits > Nephilim/Slith with no traits (ie, at same EXP%).

I disagree that the beginning is the easiest, as your character is weakest at the begining. For example a level 1 character could try fighting the dervish in Silvar or a level 30 character can do the same. A nephil can go places faster and take more risks earlier than a human.

I see it the other way, In the end your 80th level human will have more skill points than a 75th level Nephil but is it really worth it to play that slowly throughout three quarters of the game to have a slight advantage at the end when the game is at its easiest?

By 35th level I usually have potion making at level 16 and the knowledge brew recipe so skill points are only limited by herbs not level and a human only has a slight hp advantage.

Try fighting a pack of giants as soon as you have 8 dexterity as a human and then as a nephil singleton

Referring to A3
Nephils are my favourite because of their 2 point dexterity bonus = +10% to hit +10% dodge which is a huge advantage at lower levels (when you need it most) plus their missile damage bonus whatever that is and bonus to disarm traps, if any? Best singleton class and best antimage. I also think nephils look cool

Sliths have a massive polearm damage bonus, but this has a cap of 199 points and you miss out on the +1 AP of the mithril sword (my fave weapon) a Nephil with 5 AP can do more melee damage than a slith with 4 AP. Sliths incur the most hostility, which could be considered an advantage or disadvantage.

Humans are the worst at melee, having neither an attack nor defense bonus although they will eventually have the highest hit points and skill points

Perhaps Russel Crowe?

Interestingly you have misspelled the word retarded, although I am not aware of the current usage in Australia
