Yup, the formello code was where you said it was. Thanks for your help.

The code outside the barrier tower is for the barrier tower.

The code by Solberg's tower is for Erika's tower.

The code for the castle is told to you by someone at the castle.

And the silvar code is in silvar.

I'll look around Formello again one I've cleared out the zigurrat. This may take a while.

Thanks for your help.

I know that there is a portal code for formello which lets you avoid the long journey there from the Tower of Magi. I even know what it is, thanks to various FAQs available. But where in the game do you find it so you can use it? I've searched all the outside walls in Formello but I can't remember if it is there or if someone tells it to you.

Thanks.

I think the pyrric gauntlets give you disease even if you get them uncursed. They have uranium in the fingers.

How much party strength do you need to get the Alien Blade out of the stone?

Outside the castle you get a chance to wrestle some guards. How strong do you need to be to beat them?

Stone of Sanctuary: One use per day, similar to a spelshard. Gives everyone within five paces of the user sanctuary (including ememies).

Well I've just cleared out the coffin caves and my warriors are leveling up nicely and are surviving very well. Thanks for telling me to stick with them. I am almost out of ammo now - am having to resort to razordisks despite having minimal thrown weapons skill. Al well, there will be loads of arrows etc when I reach ch 4.

It's irritating not having a good offensive spell for priests. My priestess is still using bolt of fire as smite is useless.

You can buy farsight scrolls. And of course you can use and reload once you've seen where the secret door is.

I liked being able to poison weapons in the exile series. Is it possible to include this, possibly as a special ability? Or maybe have a poisoned weapon which injures the user unless they have a certain level of potion/intellegence/dex skill.

Also, grenades which burst into cloud of blades when you launch them - just make sure you don't do it too close toyou party. Or granades etc which release sleeping/dumbfounding gas (you'd need to keep the party away from the effects, use ranged weapons etc). Would be good if these worked on invisible enemies too (black shades are so irritating!) so you'd have to be able to launch them without having a target.

Are any of these possible? I'm not a designer so I have no knowledge of what can be done.

I tried that once but I got a bit bored - too much going back and forth to collect loot to sell. I think that with fewer characters they are great in the endgame but much weaker at the start, I just didn't get past the start.

After a year or so of it lying dormant, I have retrived A2 and decided to attempt it with a new party. I normally play with a human fighter with elite warrior, slith fighter, humand mage and priest.

So for a bit of variety I have decided to make the fighters nephil this time, with the plan of using bows and ranged attacks a lot more. However the game is seeming rather hard work at the moment. I have cleared out the nephil fort and verdant valley and my characters are all level 5. I have invested quite a lot in dex and bows for the fighters but they still have a really low chance to hit. They have dex 7 and bows 6, which I would have thought was sufficient for the difficulty of the starting area. As it is I'm wasting lots of arrows and might even have to buys some soon, something I've never had to do before.

Is this a good party structure? Will my character be stronger laer on? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have also used the lord of the rings theme in the past.

However my first party which beat A2 was: Alessan (Slith Warrior), Beriel (human thief/archer), Elske (human mage) and Jaryn (human priest).

Ah the days when I had time to play throught the whole of A2....it is so much better than doing dissertations.
