After hammering him for quite a while, he continues to heal. I've looked all over his dungeon, and I can't find anything to weaken him. What do I need to do? -------------------- And everybody say....Yatta! Posts: 1287 | Registered: Thursday, August 14 2003 07:00 |

As far as Nalyd can remember, Monarch doesn't heal any more than other enemies. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

As soon as I get him down to low health it goes to a conversation window saying that he "stumbles and waves his baton trying to fend off your blows" and you can either try to talk to him or attack, each one resulting with him healing himself. -------------------- And everybody say....Yatta! Do more damage. Missle or spell damage is best since he slows you in melee near the end. He also starts to do more damage just before he dies. Essence shackles will make him waste time hasting instead of attacking while you are on speed to do something else. Otherwise he isn't that hard to take out even with a single servile and no help from creations or the Rebel Camp. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

No, you don't understand. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to kill him for some reason. He will not go below 1 HP, and when it is his turn it goes to the same conversation over and over again. -------------------- And everybody say....Yatta! Posts: 1287 | Registered: Thursday, August 14 2003 07:00 |

Ah. Of course. You have to choose the right option. Smash his baton, and combat will resume. Then you can kill him. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

Have you rescued Khyryk yet, by the way? If you haven't, you won't know about the baton; I'm not sure if it's possible to smash it anyway. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
