They are hard to kill and will go haste and call for help. You may have to do it in several visits. If you talk to Alwan and convince him of your loyalty to the Shapers either by betraying the Rebels to improve your repuation and/or high leadership you eventually get the Repair Moseh quest, Shaper Duncan will then give you the Passage Bracelet that will at least make the creations not hostile, Then you can explore most areas without any trouble.
