You can pretty much store your excess items wherever, the game preserves them for the most part. I would suggest a common town. The best place is probably in Fort Avernum when you reach there. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

There is a limit on the number of items you can place in an area before the game starts removing them. It helps to separate the piles and makes it quicker to find items. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I believe if you put a piece of trash near your piles of loot it will disappear before any of your stuff. It could act as an indicator of sorts to protect you from overloading the item limit of the town. -------------------- Thuryl: I mean, most of us don't go around consuming our own bodily fluids, no matter how delicious they are. ==== Alorael: War and violence would end if we all had each other's babies! ==== Drakefyre: Those are hideous mangos. I do remember in avernum 3 there would be a place where these soldiers would tell you to keep your items there and it wouldn't disappear. I got to get further in the game to see if there's the same thing. -------------------- Exile 2 is the best. Posts: 3 | Registered: Friday, June 2 2006 07:00 |

Nope. No such place exists, just store your loot in a friendly area as long as you don't drop too much, you'll be fine. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Actually, all the Avernums, even A1-3, work the same way. The guards who say you can leave your stuff somewhere are a dialogue relic of Exile, where you had limited options for storage. —Alorael, who can only remember some of the storage rooms now: Silvar in E1 and E2, Olgai in E2, and Fort Emergence, The House on the Hill, and Hawke's Manse in E3. Upon looking it up for his own amusement, he discovered that he was missing The Castle in E1 and E2. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
