I have been to as many smithys as I could already. And for some reason they lack pincers.

Do you have the full version or just the demo?

If you have the FULL version, go to Dharmon, in the side passage where the rebels are attempting to tunnel into the mayor's hiding spot. The tunnel is on the east side of town, and I believe there is a set of pincers there.

EDIT: Also in Grindstone, I think there is a merchant that sells tools.

The smithy in the starting town has pincers. Not for sale, just laying around. They're not valuable enough to be marked as not yours.
