since i live in austria (gmt +1h), the time setting on this board really confuses me. is it possible to adjust the viewed time to my time zone? ive found none such option so far.

Jeff lives in Seattle. That's solidly northwest and definitely Pacific.

I know that UBB is written rather sloppily, but I did not realise that it was so primitve. In punBB (a very simple open source board) for instance, each user can set his/her own time zone.

I (like Rent-an-Ihrno) live in the time zone CET (at the moment - summer time - GMT +2). Why can the time and date not be written in a gennerally understandable form? This message was posted at

Well, this version of UBB doesn't allow you to set individual time zones, but there are mods that do, and later version of the UBB let you set the time zones.

If I had access to the actual files on the server, there are plenty of things I'd change/fix/improve, but I don't, so this is what we're left with.
