No. The board is set permanently to pacific time: GMT-8. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Jeff lives in Seattle. That's solidly northwest and definitely Pacific. —Alorael, who thinks the answer to the original question still hasn't been stated right. No, you cannot do anything because this is the UBB. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

quote:I know that UBB is written rather sloppily, but I did not realise that it was so primitve. In punBB (a very simple open source board) for instance, each user can set his/her own time zone. I (like Rent-an-Ihrno) live in the time zone CET (at the moment - summer time - GMT +2). Why can the time and date not be written in a gennerally understandable form? Well, this version of UBB doesn't allow you to set individual time zones, but there are mods that do, and later version of the UBB let you set the time zones. If I had access to the actual files on the server, there are plenty of things I'd change/fix/improve, but I don't, so this is what we're left with.
