Okay, so I go to cast Cloud of Blades or whatever it's called in A2 at a giant. All of a sudden, A2 crashes and says it can't find graphic file 762. Then in the text box, it keeps repeating "Stuck on 762". I've got plenty of free memory and there is no reason that I can think of that this should be happening, other than the fact that there is no 762 graphic file in the data folder. This happened after I hadn't played A2 for several months. If I have lost a file or had one corrupted, should I just redownload (backing up my registry file, of course) or is there another way to do things?

So far, that's the only file I've found missing. If anyone has a list of all the graphics files I'm supposed to have, though, please post it!

Whatever made me lose files, be it computer glitch or some other ignorant user, made me lose many files  . I am missing the following graphic files, if your list is complete (which it isn't*):

1010; 1512; 1516; 1543; 1545; 1560; 1587; 1590; 1592; 1594; 1595; 1605; 1801; 1803; 1805-1809; 1814; 1815; 1823; 5007; 5076; 5083; 760; 763; 764; 766; 768; 770-772; 853; 902; 905.

*I several files in my data folder that you did not list. I am unsure whether or not you are missing these or if whatever made me lose files also copied some from my Avernum 1/Avernum 3 folder. They are 5056, 5057, and 5300. If you want, I can email these files to you.

I checked, I knew I'd made a mistake somewhere. I have them in my folder. But you lost quite a few. You had no virus or trojan?

If you want, I'll upload your missing files, so you can get them back. Though if it was my comp, I'd probably check it thoroughly. A bit too many for just a small glitch.

The only virus I've had in the past six months was the Win32 virus (AKA Blaster, if IRC). But I personally disabled it in between internet sessions - i.e. I connected, somehow picked the virus up, disconnected, eradicated the virus, and reconnected a few days later. And the drive my Avernum games are on is not my primary - I have C:, D:, and E:, not to mention 3.5" A: and CD-ROM F:. I keep almost my Spiderweb games on E:, my primary is C:. And I didn't lose any other files, on any drive. I'm thinking an inept relative accidentally screwed something up not knowing what they were doing. I greatly appreciate your help, ef. You're quite wonderful!

More messy than wonderful, as numbers 5007, 5083, 853, 902 and 905 are nonexistant files. Sorry about that.

So here:
1010; 1512; 1516; 1543; 1545; 1560; 1587; 1590; 1592; 1594; 1595; 1605; 1801; 1803; 1805; 1806; 1807; 1808; 1809; 1814; 1815; 1823; 5076; 760; 763; 764; 766; 768; 770; 771; 772

Thank you so much for your help. I've downloaded all the files except for 1803 - I got a 404 error trying to find it :( . For your help, I give you this blessing: may you go unnoticed only where you wish and may many friends surround you at all other times. :D
