Then where will I get my answer? The program has no troubleshooting guide. I think my computer might have spyware. But Sophos Anti-virus can't detect it! How could my computer have gotten spyware? And what is spyware? Judging by what I've heard, it's bad. quote:Gah! Spyware, as the name would suggest, is software that spies on you. Virus detectors won't detect spyware programs because they're not viruses! Half the time you unknowingly put them on your computer yourself in the process of installing something. To get rid of it, install AdAware -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Well, that's all it's supposed to do. It also slows your computer down and may cause other problems. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Well, a problem with RPG Maker, especially like the one you describe, is likely caused by a mistake in coding-somewhere you told something to go left and the command wasn't defined the way you wanted, so it's now mucking everything up. If I were you, I'd learn to use BoE. It'd be a much better investment of time than RMK. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

What do you mean by telling sometihng to go left? Also, when I was testing, it used to start me off in the selected map, now, it forces me to always start testing at the beginning. -------------------- -Zephyr Tempest, your personal entertainer Posts: 1779 | Registered: Monday, December 9 2002 08:00 |

FB, trying to ask help when you should not is not going to make us think you have changed. You should have asked Omlette only. -------------------- /Seawinds are calling Posts: 187 | Registered: Thursday, August 14 2003 07:00 |

But I'm not sure if he could help. If he can, I guess I'll just PM him. So, Omelette, would you be able to help me? This problem's gotta be solved soon, or the game I'm making won't be finished. And I worked hard on it. :( -------------------- -Zephyr Tempest, your personal entertainer Posts: 1779 | Registered: Monday, December 9 2002 08:00 |

True. You could argue that this belongs in General rather than Tech Support, and it probably would have been more logical to have posted it there, as more people would have noticed. However, on the subject of Zephyr's game...either upload it or e-mail it to me, I can't exactly diagnose your problem from here... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Apparently, the game was just overworked. The walking left problem is gone now. YAY! -------------------- -Zephyr Tempest, your personal entertainer Posts: 1779 | Registered: Monday, December 9 2002 08:00 |
