I'm debating whether it's worth registering on that forum when I actually haven't played the full games... even though I'm the one who first proposed the idea. Posts: 334 | Registered: Friday, September 14 2007 07:00 |

It's most definitely not worth it. I mean, registering on the forum requires several hours of filling out background check forms, scheduling an interview to determine your eligibility for an account on the Ermarian Network, and paying an annual membership fee of a few hundred dollars. Seriously, if you aren't ready to make this your life's work, don't bother. :P Posts: 8752 | Registered: Wednesday, May 14 2003 07:00 |

You forgot the vow of perpetual celibacy. Though if you do make a shareware game Wiki your life's work, the vow might be superfluous in this regard. -------------------- Listen carefully because some of your options may have changed. Posts: 3335 | Registered: Thursday, September 4 2003 07:00 |

 Nice sarcasm there, Arancaytar. For once, it's obvious. I think the administrators have a bit of work to do over there – setting up forums, for example. [ Saturday, April 19, 2008 18:30: Message edited by: Celtic Minstrel ] Posts: 334 | Registered: Friday, September 14 2007 07:00 |

This is going to be a lot of work. Geneforge is big, Geneforge two is even bigger: the games are stuffed with nice little details about the world of the shapers: it would be difficult to make a full encyclopedia of the geneforge world. -------------------- You can jump off a bridge, fire a gun in your mouth, drink poison,or going in to the tiger's pit but you will still end up dead it's a mater of time and how . It's a heck of a lot easier than an encyclopedia of Ermarian, thanks to the non-existence of sub-canon. And we did that one all right. -------------------- The Noble and Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead. I'll try to help you all right. However Geneforge 2 was to me so big i wasn't even able to catch up with the whole story line. I wonder if it 's the case for most of us. The worst part is the names of the not so important people who played a somewhat important role as a soldier, shaper, agent guardian, spy, rebel or even villager in helping you along the way. As for Genforge i finished this game over 20 times i 'll help you on that. A question now why did you call it the sucia archives? I know that sucia is a birth place of great importance but why call it sucia? PS: nice work by the way, Andrste. Slarty and Dikiyoba, just as a note, the forum structure hasn't been set up yet; we only have a test forum. I don't know what subforums you want, so I'll leave this to you. :) Posts: 8752 | Registered: Wednesday, May 14 2003 07:00 |

I can't find any options to set up forums. Actually, I can't find any options to do anything other than edit user preferences; anything else either isn't listed or it says I don't have permission to do, despite being listed as an admin. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central "Slartucker is going to have a cow when he hears about this," Synergy said. New post so Aran's bots see it: and I hope you didn't delete SoT's essay entirely! -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central "Slartucker is going to have a cow when he hears about this," Synergy said. I didn't delete anything. I see that the only forum appears to have vanished mysteriously. Database says the posts are still there, though. Edit: Oh bugrit. Updated forum software, missed the database update. Here we go. It is now May, and I am now paying attention to this again. I think I managed to set up the forums so they're usable and started a few threads of things to dicuss. So register (if you haven't) and discuss. If you have any problems, send me a private message (on this board) and I'll do my best to take care of it promptly. And to encourage people to participate, Dikiyoba will waive the interviews, membership fees, and vows of celibacy for everyone except for ET, because now that Dikiyoba is in a position of power Dikiyoba hates him. :P -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded • Episode 5: Spiderweb Resistance Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If I may suggest, ET's vow of celibacy could be helped along by permanent surgical measures. :P -------------------- The Noble and Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead.
