I've found this lil fella near the golem infestation, however, when I try to talk to him he ends up running off, afraid. Anyone know what his deal is? -------------------- Aa' menle nauva calen ar' ta hwesta e' ale'quenle, melloneamin. --------------------- Finder of impossible beta testing errors. If I'm thinking of the right gremlin, you need to get rid of the golem plague before he talks with you. Later, I believe you can buy a special skill from him for some money or something of that nature. -------------------- Austrian Alex Posts: 1307 | Registered: Tuesday, May 7 2002 07:00 |

Anyone notice just north of the scared little dude... an island not on the map. Where you use stepping stones to get to it and then use a horn to bring the mobs? In a Cave inside a hill? Supposedly you need to be Reknowned and "strong" to be able to read the tome? What does that take? Posts: 8 | Registered: Wednesday, November 17 2004 08:00 |

I think what you are talking about is the location of Divine Restoration Level 3. What you need to do is use the horn twice to summon a big bunch of monsters, which when killed give you access to the tome. However, I've no idea what "reknowned" means. I suppose it means the groups reputation, but I couldn't even make it up there until I beat the Trogs, at which point my rep was already that high due to various quests I had done. As for strong, that probably means you need a set level of strength in your party, but again I'm not sure. I'll have a mess with the Character Editor in a while to check. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? I just finished this part... regarding the tome... I have a reputation of 60, my levels are around 45-49... I think it is more about party level and abiltiy rather than physical strength. Posts: 2 | Registered: Monday, December 6 2004 08:00 |

The "strength" part might just be referring to you having to defeat all the monsters, not an actual check for a party level / characteristic. -------------------- Austrian Alex Posts: 1307 | Registered: Tuesday, May 7 2002 07:00 |

that Divine Restoration spell can only be yours when you finish any of the 2 quests- the troglo-giants or the golem quest. However you need a horn to call forth the monsters, fighting whom You will receive the gift. there's a lich in the 2nd time . careful! -------------------- he who puts his head inside a dragon's orifice is likely to get a lot of... Bah! Lich Schmich... By far my favorite spell is Cloud of Blades. The great equalizer. Also, with Repel Spirit this event is not that hard. Strategically placed they do great damage to all manner of mobs which are immune to magic attacks... Rakasha die rather easily with CoB and a few well placed arrows. However, I have yet to go back and clear out Erox. Posts: 8 | Registered: Wednesday, November 17 2004 08:00 |

How does one catch the gremlin north of Lorelei? This would be the one that runs into the bushes, not the frightened one, north of Gale, who gives you Gymnastics. -------------------- Evil comes in many forms. I am but one of them. Posts: 116 | Registered: Monday, January 7 2002 08:00 |

Having enough Nature Lore is the way to do it, I believe. —Alorael, who will not say anything about thread necromancy because this is both a worthwhile post and a relevant post. How refreshing! Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
