Which creature is more powerful... An Ogre Mage or Vampire? And is there any place where I can encounter a flame or ice hydra WITHOUT summoning one? And is one stronger than the other or is the only difference they have is their color, name and breath attack? Thank you in advance. -------------------- -Zephyr Tempest, your personal entertainer Posts: 1779 | Registered: Monday, December 9 2002 08:00 |

Vampires are more powerful. Can't answer the other question. -------------------- "You can coal mine, moonshine or move on down the line." - Appalachian career choices described in "Coal Miner's Daughter" Posts: 14 | Registered: Thursday, October 28 2004 07:00 |

hm. i could swear i posted in here last night. oh well. seems as if i really was as drunk as the others tell me. however. vampires definately are more powerful. there are some places you can encounter flame/ice hydras, i cant think of any particular place atm though. if im right, ice hydras can deal out more, but flame hydras have a better defense. all in all, i find ice hydras stronger. -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!! Well, if it's that hard to find ice and flame hydras... How can I make summoned creatures hostile? -------------------- -Zephyr Tempest, your personal entertainer Posts: 1779 | Registered: Monday, December 9 2002 08:00 |

Nope. Attacking them just kills them. All they do is just wander around. They don't even seem to be aware that I'm attacking them. Is there some reason why you need to know? I do not think there really is a place just for Elemental Hydras, in any Avernum game. Your best bet would be to find an enemy that can summon them and do whatever with them then. Actually, I think Vampires can summon them.... -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. There's an ice hydra in the Ursagi caves in SE Valorim. There are also some others in the woods somewhere in the NW. -------------------- "You can coal mine, moonshine or move on down the line." - Appalachian career choices described in "Coal Miner's Daughter" Posts: 14 | Registered: Thursday, October 28 2004 07:00 |
