I have now received a couple of private messages concerning my post in the "Who's Got Registered"-thread. In those messages, I have been directly asked to help the new members to crack the game for them. First off, that post was purely a joke, and seems I got most of you, wohoo! Secondly, it's forbidden to request for cracks, info about hex-editing, things like that. Next member messaging me about those topics, I will turn in. I don't have any knowledge of such things, I'm just a Finn with a weird sense of humour. That is all there is to this "cracking-games-open-by-editing-the-source"-thing. Oh, and the guys who already have messaged me, I deleted the messages, destroyed the evidence, just don't do that again, to anyone! Jeff is working hard to bring these games to us, respect that, goddammit, and pay him to get to play the whole versions, 25 bucks isn't much for a quality game! - The Great Mister -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 972 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

Next time, notify the administration - with names, emails, IPs, or member numbers if possible. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! I will, no worries. I just didn't think it'd be worth of no one's time to begin banning two newbies who clearly had no understanding of what they were asking, and from whom. -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 972 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

This is precisely why it's a good idea to not even make jokes about such things — it gets people thinking along those lines, and there are always those who take it seriously. Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |
