What a coincidence. I've been told that I'm a giant from the waist down. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Thuryl LOL My rod also creates half giants but the optical strangeness doesn't afflict their fighter quality. So it's just a funny bug. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

I think it's because giants and other large characters are made up of multiple pictures that the game has to put together. For some reason, when they get summoned the other half doesn't show up. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure in A2 those characters were part monster-pic and part terrain-pic. -------------------- There are two kinds of game players...those who are newbies, and those who were. They were augmented giants. I also discovered that if NPCs summon giants (Vahkos summoned some plain giants) that the graphics are fine. -------------------- Take the Personality Test! Deep down, you wish you were a stick figure. Posts: 1629 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

All right, fine. I just remember looking at some pics of them that were only one half. And certainly the reason is that the pictures are two tiles high. grumblejeezgetoffmybackgrumblegrumblebla :D -------------------- There are two kinds of game players...those who are newbies, and those who were.
