See i've started my scenerio for BoA already, and I wonder if it seems stupid to make a walkthrough for my game, i mean like a real long walkthrough with the FAQ stuff also? -------------------- --Axerax the Dragon Tamer-- Posts: 283 | Registered: Tuesday, September 17 2002 07:00 |

Make sure everything you plan to do in the scenario will be possible in the Avernum engine. A basic walkthrough would be fine at this point but you can't be too detailed since you haven't designed everything yet. -------------------- Thuryl: I mean, most of us don't go around consuming our own bodily fluids, no matter how delicious they are. ==== Alorael: War and violence would end if we all had each other's babies! ==== Drakefyre: Those are hideous mangos. A walkthrough is feasible. A lot of people give walkthroughs, so you won't be the only one doing such. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Oh, look at me! I'm writing a FAQ and a walkthrough and a character data sheet for a scenario that doesn't exist in order to hold myself further from the ultimate realization that I will never get 5 towns into the damn thing! Don't you just hate it when he posts before he realizes he's still asleep? -------------------- "Oh, North Wind, why frighten others? In Nature's family all are brothers. Puff and blow and wheeze and hiss; You can't frighten Shingebiss. Bring your frost and ice and snow; I'm still free to come and go. You can never frighten me, One who never fears is FREE!" -Shingebiss, the mighty duck Posts: 830 | Registered: Tuesday, August 20 2002 07:00 |

once a person realizes that he or she is still asleep he or she will have a debugging process in the brain. that will cause a chain reaction that has two possible outcomes: 0 (sleep) or 1 (awake). thats not so good for posting. nethe.. nieth.. what the hell was that word? [needher](meaning: both are negative)/ 0(void) -------------------- I am pleased to make contact with your entities. Posts: 123 | Registered: Sunday, July 7 2002 07:00 |

Hmmm... Is it technically possible to write a frequently asked questions list when the scenario doesn't exist and therefore questions aren't being asked? -------------------- 5.0.1.0.0.0.0.1.0... Posts: 508 | Registered: Thursday, May 29 2003 07:00 |

Possible: Yes. Recommended: No. I also doubt his intent on writing it now... I believe he was refering to after he made the scenario, whether a walkthrough is a good idea. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Technically yes, their basic questions people would ask like, what am i supposed to do in the game, how is the game to be played, and so on. Any ways, I've got over 15 towns done on my scenario, which is a sequel to the first.. long story, but any ways it got lost cause my computer blew up. not literally, but just fried and i can't use it any more -------------------- --Axerax the Dragon Tamer-- Posts: 283 | Registered: Tuesday, September 17 2002 07:00 |
