I'm looking for a way to check to see if a shop has an item in stock and if not then to add it. Possible? -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Posts: 480 | Registered: Thursday, October 11 2001 07:00 |

Set a flag when you add the item, then check the flag. There's no way to check it directly (although that was on the request list for a hypothetical Scenario Format 3). Oh, wait, in stock. No. Not at all. You could give the item a special class, and check how many they have before and after calling the shop, perhaps. -------------------- Barcoorah: I even did it to a big dorset ram. New Mac BoE Posts: 1798 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

There is no way for you to check how many items the party bought, unless you do not use the standard shopping window. But one possibility is to check how many items of the special type the party has immediately after they leave the shopping window. I am not sure if you can do that before a player has a chance to drop it, though. Then you could keep records about the number of items bought in a flag or something. -------------------- Thuryl: I mean, most of us don't go around consuming our own bodily fluids, no matter how delicious they are. ==== Alorael: War and violence would end if we all had each other's babies! ==== Drakefyre: Those are hideous mangos.
