As for the Utility category, there would need to more than just the HLPM as the clear winner for that to justify it. In other words, there needs to be another really good and useful utility before entertaining that. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Alint? And I'm assuming that for BoE scenarios we're just totaling up the number of towns and outdoor sections, right? -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! I suggested in the chat a "utility" category, not a "utility scenario" category. That includes Alint, the 3D Editor, etc. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Smoo: Get ready to face the walls! Nothing so dramatic. My cat likes to sleep on the monitor because it's warm. At any rate, I've add a utility category. Utilities can be any computer based tool and not necessarily a BoX scenario. Utilities will also be ineligible for Best Scenario. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Sadly, I don't think I'll finish my scenario. In the Lyceum chat, my plot was mocked so hard by Ash that I don't see a point in making it now. JUST when I had hopes of reviving BoE once more! Still, I'm willing to judge, haven't done that before. [ Saturday, March 11, 2006 04:52: Message edited by: BainIhrno ] -------------------- "Let us see what the new day brings." - Temas, Areni. I hate to say this, but I am currently in stasis, and my scenario may be delayed or forgotten. My iBook of 2 years died in a big way last night, and I'm going to have to wait and see what can be saved. If my scenario-in-progress is too far gone, then I have nothing, and I will be hard-pressed to start from scratch. This is incredibly annoying, 'cause I'm on Spring Break and this was supposed to be the one time of year that I'd be able to work on it! (The one, tiny, little upside is that I have DoK stored on my Freewebs site, and can retrieve it at my leisure.) EDIT: Huzzah! 'Tis fixed, and I miraculously lost nothing!!! Let the scripting continue! [ Saturday, March 11, 2006 17:32: Message edited by: Ephesos ] -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I have just started my first small scale scenario which will be focused on plot and puzzles rather than pure action. Even so, I'll hopefully get a few battle cutscenes in as well. As I have never attempted anything like this before, I can't guarantee at this stage whether or not I'll have to abandon it before completion. Obviously, it will be in the newcomer category. -------------------- "Build a man a fire, and he´ll be warm for a day; set a man on fire, and he´ll be warm for the rest of his life." quote:This is indeed frustrating. My theatre fell victim to sustained idiocy and has been momentarily abandoned in favor of something else. Luckily I'm currently working on something else (not the title of the scenario) so all is not lost. It will be on the small side. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

My planned contest scenarios haven't experienced setbacks yet. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to make the plot of one scenario more interesting. The scenario is otherwise nearly finished. Posts: 77 | Registered: Sunday, July 10 2005 07:00 |

quote:Dammit. Are you deliberately trying to make me feel bad here, or is that just a convenient side effect? :P Seriously, you don't need to dump the scenario. Just change some plans. Quite frankly, Dikiyoba will be happy to see any scenario with a plot and that doesn't involve evil Vahnatai, monster plagues, or undead hordes. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Would Dikiyoba be happy with a scenario that has a plot centered wholly on good Vahnatai and live hordes? [ Saturday, March 11, 2006 20:01: Message edited by: Millicent, Dear Millicent ] -------------------- —Zxquez Zolohahni Xerch'de/Rate. Posts: 549 | Registered: Thursday, October 17 2002 07:00 |

Dintiradan: No. Ash: Haven't thrown it away yet, can talk when I can find time. Seriously, though, I made 1/3 of the scenario, I can't rewrite it now! -------------------- "Let us see what the new day brings." - Temas, Areni. Visit my realm! Rate My Scenarios! quote:Good vahnatai, yes, since I am creating a scenario involving some. I doubt it will be out any time soon. Live hordes are okay too as long as they aren't ridiculous. Edit: "Vahnatai" still isn't a proper noun. And Dikiyoba removed a sentence that made no sense whatsoever.
