What? No! I thought we'd moved it to Saturday! EDIT: Stupid, stupid, stupid... that's what I get for looking at my computer's clock after midnight and not thinking about it... Anyway, I'll be there. EDIT: How about posting a synopsis after the chat? You won't be able to have missed it for another 20+ hours, I think. I will miss it, though, so it would be nice to post a synopsis here for those of us who have to work or watch the Rose Bowl or something. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. If you were a sports columnist, watching the Rose Bowl would be work! Or if you were a florist or potter, I suppose. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I will be there tommorow night, and if there are enough people, I plan on organizing a relief effort to alleviate the community of the drought it's in right now. Come, so we can bounce ideas and plan some things. -------------------- * Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

22:00 EST would be 4:00 CET for me. (Actually it will be 4:00 CET for everybody else, but that's not the point). No lectures on Thursdays, so I could possibly sleep early tonight and be awake then. How lucid I'm going to be is another question, and in what way I will be able to contribute (since I have produced less scenarios than Drakefyre if you include works in progress) still another one. Regarding the synopsis: Would someone object against publishing a complete log? It'd be less work, surely... -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. A log or synopsis is definitely possible. As I said before, this will not be the ONLY chance for a chat, just one of many. The next chat will likely be on a Saturday at 5 pm EST. Of course, one does not have to devote full attention to the chatroom and can have the television on in the background. :) -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! I am now in there and have just come to the conclusion that ezboard remains true to its nature with its chatrooms as with its forums. But whatever works, I suppose... -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. As I said, we should probably find a better alternative. Suggestions? -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

I'll probably be there. Don't know how much I'll end up contributing though. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. I've been there, listened a lot, talked very little, learned some stuff nonetheless, and now need to leave. Also, the best options I've seen for chatrooms are IRC and AIM. Both of these can be used with many different chat clients rather than through a web interface. For IRC, Arcane already put up a channel at irc.heavenlyplace.net/#Avernum, but most networks will let you register a new channel. -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.
