I'm stuck in Ivalice town with wounded Malachi. He doesn't seem to want to rest in any of the rooms with beds. I've spoken to all the characters, got the journal, explored everywhere possible (I think). How to get out of town and back to the fort? I must be overlooking something very obvious. Please give a hint. Thanks! Ouphe Posts: 3 | Registered: Thursday, September 29 2005 07:00 |

Are you using Windows? Do you have anything other than the most recent version of the scenario? If the answer to both questions is "yes", you've run into a bug. Get the latest version from here. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Yeah I hit the same problem. Best thing you can do is upgrade and restart. -------------------- I assume my reputation for arrogant presumption precedes me Posts: 107 | Registered: Thursday, December 9 2004 08:00 |

You don't need to start over; just leave town and re-enter after you upgrade. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Thanks, fellow adventurers! I'll download again and try re-entering the town (don't want to fight the initial ambush again...). I'm on a Mac, so it must have something to do with an early version rather than a Windows snag. Thanks again. Ouphe Posts: 3 | Registered: Thursday, September 29 2005 07:00 |

The update doesn't change the .bas file, though, only the scripts. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

It worked, anyway. I've just sneaked through the mines. Thanks again. Ouphe Posts: 3 | Registered: Thursday, September 29 2005 07:00 |
