My first Blades of Avernum scenario, called Nephilim mystery, is ready for beta. The scenario is set in a remote Empire valley, which has been attacked by a group of unusually strong Nephilim. It's short(1 outdoor section and 4 towns), and is meant for levels around 50 to 70.

People interested in beta testing it can post a message in this thread or send me a private message asking to test it. The scenario package is about 215KB unzipped and 36KB zipped.

Once again, valleys in the world of Avernum are the most dangerous places to live. Why does anyone bother anymore? :)

I recommend finding a better title, but I am very interested to see what sort of scenario you've come up with. Too bad I don't have a computer at the moment, or I'd be signing up to test.

I'd like to test as well.
I have only MAC OSX, and this will be my first time if I will.

I've sent the first beta copy out to five testers(VCH, Frayalitz, Archmagi Micael, So Incredibly Sad, and Marx's Martyr); it's bundled as a .sit archive, as I couldn't send it as a .zip file from the Gmail service. Windows users can open it with the free StuffIt Expander program.

I don't need any additional testers at this time.

Sorry but I didn't receive the attachment with the e-mail. For some reason there is no .sit file. Perhaps hotmail is to blame. Could you host it somewhere for a while so I could download it? Or perhaps somebody could try sending it to me again at coreyscanucks@hotmail.com

Seletine,

I ZIPPED it and emailed it to him. ZIP files can DEFINITELY get through hotmail.

It was Safari that screwed me over. I hope the new versions work better with hotmail. Any way I have it now, thanks.

Sorry I haven't been doing much. That simple bug is STILL as far as I've gone in your scenario. I haven't been on a computer with BoA on it much. Schoolwork weighs me down when I am.
