I don't know if this has been already put, but I don't really care. Wouldn't it be nice if Jeff made it to where your saved game could store custom item graphics? It would actually work, when you think about it. After all it's only a pict file, or a document(depending on whether it's a Mac or PoC). Posts: 1918 | Registered: Sunday, October 13 2002 07:00 |

Yes this another viable solution... I'm trying to think of problems with this and have yet to find any! Yay! But then again, I'm sick and can't think straight anyway... -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

You know what's odd about that. I think better when I'm sick. Perhaps it's cause there's less internal strife then... Anyway. I've actually put thought into this and it can be done. For Windows, we simply create a bmp file that contains the info for the custom graphics. For Mac, we do what we'd do with windows, except with a ResEdit file. It could certainly work, but bitmaps can get pretty large. Maybe as a smaller file type, otherwise you would have to restrict the number of graphics per save too heavily. -------------------- PhoenixNinjas! Ninja-Moderation! What we need is Urban Wisdom!
