You might want to check out the thread on converting BoE scenarios to BoA ones to find out why. A lot of designers used to go there to mock each others efforts and--better--swap tips. A lot of people start out there asking for hints on the three starter BoE scenarios, but beyond that there are so many custom scenarios now that you'll be very lucky to get hints on any of those (I try...). A shame really - BoE was a gift to the world... Posts: 2333 | Registered: Monday, January 7 2002 08:00 |

It's excellent, if a bit buggy. Of the three starters, A Small Rebellion is the best, from what I've heard. Anyway, there are many user-created scenarios, many of which are very good. I highly recommend buying it. -------------------- My BoE graphics archive is finally getting started! Yay! Many, many user-created scenarios are much better than the three it comes with. Blades is the best $30 I've spent. Highly recommended. And for the most part, hints are almost always given out for the better scenarios (those more people have played). -------------------- http://members.aol.com/risberg/blades/ Eternity approaches. Everyone still checks the forum. If you'd post a question there, you'd get answers. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Is it just me, or is this topic in the wrong board? -------------------- Beware of pretty girls in dance halls and parks who may be spies, as well as bicycles, revolvers, uniforms, arms, dead horses, and men lying on roads -- they are not there accidentally." - Soviet infantry manual, 1930's Posts: 267 | Registered: Wednesday, November 27 2002 08:00 |

It's clearly directed at non-BoE initiates. If it was on the BoE board, discussion would obviously be a lot narrower as only people into BoE would contribute. Posts: 2333 | Registered: Monday, January 7 2002 08:00 |
