When things like this are brought to the table, it is generally just political maneuvering. What will happen is that the various downtown bar owners will meet with the city officials and agree to more closely control the rowdy behavior of the patrons. After a few years it will be back to how it is now, and some other group of freedom fearing folks will bring a similar proposal to the table. So yeah, mountains and molehills people.
